A shallow eating bowl, hand carved from sapele wood and ebonised to darken the surface. I have carved a very shallow curve into the base to reveal the original colour of the wood. Finished with three coats of danish oil.

Approx 20cm diameter and 4cm deep.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT CLEAN IN DISHWASHER. Wood expands and contracts with the seasons, with temperature, and with humidity. Never place this item in a washing machine. Always wash by hand, and do not leave soaking in the sink, or lying in pooled water on the draining board to dry.
