Long handled cooking spoons with a very shallow bowl and an angled tip. Perhaps more spatula than spoon. Quite versatile.

All faces have been hand carved with a knife or gouge to create a faceted, textural surface. Please note that wood grain and colour do vary from piece to piece.

Sapele Wood, finished with three coats of danish oil. Approximately 29.5cm long and 5cm wide across the bowl.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT CLEAN IN DISHWASHER. Wood expands and contracts with the seasons, with temperature, and with humidity. Never place this item in a washing machine. Always wash by hand, and do not leave soaking in the sink, or lying in pooled water on the draining board to dry. To ensure the longest life for your wooden utensils, I would also recommend occasionally treating the wood with beeswax balm, mineral oil, or another finish of your choice to keep the wood waterproof and moisturised. Just whenever it starts to look dry. This also keeps utensils looking lovely and rich in colour.
