A short handled cooking spoon with a shallow bowl. Ideal for stirring sauces! The inside of the bowl is smooth, but the back and handle have been hand carved with a knife to create a faceted texture.

Handmade from black walnut and finished with three coats of danish oil. This spoon is approx 19.5cm long, and 5cm wide at the bowl.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT CLEAN IN DISHWASHER. Wood expands and contracts with the seasons, with temperature, and with humidity. Never place this item in a washing machine. Always wash by hand, and do not leave soaking in the sink, or lying in pooled water on the draining board to dry. To ensure the longest life for your wooden utensils, I would also recommend occasionally treating the wood with beeswax balm, mineral oil, or another finish of your choice to keep the wood waterproof and moisturised. Just whenever it starts to look dry. This also keeps utensils looking lovely and rich in colour.
