An extra large spreader. Less suitable for small jam jars etc, but absolutely ideal for when you are setting out the table for guests, with some big chunky bread. I imagine it would be great for icing cakes too.

Hand carved in sapele wood, and finished with three coats of tung oil.
Approx 22cm long and 3.5cm wide at the blade end.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT CLEAN IN DISHWASHER. Wood expands and contracts with the seasons, with temperature, and with humidity. Never place this item in a washing machine. Always wash by hand, and do not leave soaking in the sink, or lying in pooled water on the draining board to dry. To ensure the longest life for your wooden utensils, I would also recommend occasionally treating the wood with beeswax balm, mineral oil, or another finish of your choice to keep the wood waterproof and moisturised. Just whenever it starts to look dry. This also keeps utensils looking lovely and rich in colour.
